An Umbilical Artery Catheter (UAC) is a thin, flexible tube inserted into the umbilical artery of newborns to provide direct access for monitoring and treatment. It is primarily used in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) for continuous blood pressure monitoring, frequent blood sampling, and administration of fluids or medications without repeated needle pricks. Catheter is made from soft, medical-grade materials to minimize trauma and ensures patient safety.  It Marked with depth indicators for accurate placement, it is secured carefully to reduce the risk of dislodgement. UACs are essential in managing critically ill infants, offering reliable vascular access that supports precise monitoring and timely interventions during the early days of life.
