Safety IV Cannula without Injection Port and Wing is a compact device used for establishing intravenous access while ensuring user safety. It has a flexible catheter fitted over a stainless-steel introducer needle, which incorporates a safety mechanism to lock or retract the needle immediately after cannulation, reducing the risk of accidental injury. Without an injection port, drug or fluid administration is carried out exclusively through the connected IV line. The absence of wings gives it a slimmer form, allowing easy placement in areas where space is limited or where reduced bulk is desired. This type is particularly suited for short-term therapies or situations requiring minimal hardware at the insertion site.
